today is so gross and hot! blech!

yesterday i went to campus around 7:30 to go check my mail, and they'd closed my box. i got all desparate and tried to think of different ways to break in (i could see 2 letters right there taunting me), but nothing worked. so i wanted to go again today, but since i have to work at 5, i wanted to go earlyish. when i woke up at around noon, the sky was dark grey, and so i figured i should go, before it either rained or the sky cleared and it got all hot again. so i walked back to campus, and my box was open again, and i had 3 letters, and one letter returned to me, i'm not sure why. and then i walked back home. the sky was very blue by then, with white puffy clouds and it was so hot that by the time i got home, any paper products that had been in my pockets were soaked. the notebook i had been writing in earlir was smeared. grrr!

last night i burned 14 cds on nathan's computer. both boys had offered to do it, when they got burners right around the same time, since i have SOOO many mp3s and no working soundcard. but it never happened and never happened. so when nathan left for mexico, he said i could use his computer. so i did, and i cleared out almost 1/4 of my drive space. very exciting. i still have a bunch more to burn, but i'm very excited to have these. and now i can listen to "angel from montgomery" any time i want! and that scratchy muffin and corky burger song that was so popular when i was in england, though it only had a release of like 200 on vinyl, and radio 1 would play it all the time, and it's so the best song ever!
