i know the coolest people ever. a big part of this comes from new college. cool people just flock to new college or something. and so just by going there you will automatically know some of the coolest people ever. and it's weird because i think that basically everyone there is cool on their own, but just like with intelligence there's a lot of small fish big pond stuff going on. like they could be really cool, but just in the environment of all these cool people it's hard to see their cool.

anyway, i got emails from refreaka and jennifer connelly today and they were both way exciting. and my mail was also very exciting, and it didn't even have anything to do with new college. i got a package from my friend clare in england. she sent me an ubercool letter, and a giant fake rose. yay! she got the package i sent her full of random weird american food, like ranch corn nuts and pizza flavored goldfish and hershey's hugs and stuff, and also a bunch of lisa frank stuff, and she really loved it. but yeah, a giant rose. i wish she could visit, so we could hang out and so that she could meet all my cool new college friends and they could love her, too.

and i finished the rose and the beast today. *drools* yummy yummy book. i recommend it to one and all, and i can't wait till james gets back and we can read it out loud. but first i need to get my own copy.
