*yay for some things! 2001-10-26 10:24 a.m.*

so, after one of my crying binges last night, i think it was the 2nd time that i called number one, i just had this huge craving to email catnipboy. i wasn't at all sure what it was that made me want to email him so very much, but i did. but i was feeling like i'd spread my misery too much around for the day, and decided not to.

so then i wake up this morning, and guess who i have an email from!? this is superexciting, and also rather bizarre, since it's about the 2nd email i've gotten from him since he left for duke. i know that number one had something to do with this, though i never told her that i wanted to email him (it didn't even hit till after i was off the phone). maybe she was just sending really strong "email each other" vibes at us. i don't know.

the promised cold front is in, and that makes me happy, because i like wintery clothes, and it means we don't have to have the air on all the time, and yeah. it's just nice.

james and i are going to go to the beach today, and i hope that still happens even though it is cold. i think i'd still like to go to the beach although it is cold.

so yeah, this morning could have been worse, even though i woke up with a song i'd rather not have in my head, and the boy next door was being annoying in that bizarre 10-year-old way. and here is my kitten, and i didn't have to shoot medicine down her throat. yay!
