so yeah, i have been dissed by cornel west. proudest moment of my life.

see, i wanted to get a picture of mike michalson and him, considering how much i admire both of them. so after commencement was done, i went on a mild stalking spree. i found them after a few queries, and then sidled up to michalson. "i feel like such a groupie, but i really want to get a picture of you and cornel west together because you are two of the men i admire most in the entire world." after a thoughtful silence he said, "i will try and stand over by him." but before he got there some students started talking to him. and cornel talked to the people he was talking to. and then more people needed to talk to mike, and more people needed to talk to cornel, and i stood there making timid faces. finally, michalson made it over and said, "i'll try and make it look like i actually know him," while cornel continued to talk to the person near him. i snapped my picture, and cornel didn't even look over at me. i'm sure he's used to the flash of cameras. but yeah, so he didn't even look over at me, while i stood there trying to think of something brilliant to say. but then i just told michalson, "okay, now that i've looked at him for a long time, i'll go away," and i ran away. i'm such a tard, but the man was tired and busy and i've got my photo. do you? (speaking of pictures...)
