kitten is such a weirdo, i have to say. i just got back from harry potter and el greco and grocery shopping with my mom, and brought up a box filled with mail, stamps, a bag of cat food, feminine hygeine products, clothing and shoes. and she digs around and around in it until she comes back up with a ball of tissue paper in her mouth and she's been occupied with it ever since.

in the mail was a mysterious "small packet" from england. i couldn't find a return address on it, and the signature on the customs slip was not one i knew (but it did say it had "cakes and confectionery" in it), but we had to leave so i could send my ani bootleg to clare in england and some stuff to a friend in california, and get stamps for amnesty and me, so i didn't get to open it. but i just did and it's from clare, and it's all kinds of goodies: a christmas pud (from tesco), a sugar mouse, chocolate spiders maggots and worms (she's the funniest girl!), a kendal mint cake, herbs for mulled wine, a bag of chockie santas, and a pencil and eraser from saffron waldon which is where she lives. woo! so exciting! yay for sweets.

i've been in a fairly good mood today. actually feeling like myself and not the monster from the black lagoon. i haven't cried all day! ra ra ra! *hops around and does cheer-like motions* i'm so cool. i don't really know what it is, but today a positive attitude seems less difficult, and i'm hoping things will only improve. maybe i really did cry myself out. i don't know. i feel like if something went wrong i'd cry pretty easily, but i'm not going to think about things going wrong today. i'm just going to ride with this mood. i'm feeling a little jittery and jagged from large caffeine intake, but otherwise life feels pretty good. i think i'm going to go sit for a little bit. i haven't done that in awhile.

(and yes harry potter was good. way fun. not as good as the books. you couldn't put it down when it got slow. but it was still a fun time. and mom didn't fall asleep or anything. (i peed 2ce during the movie. and once before and once afterwards.)
